Greetings & welcome to Dawn’s Web Designs. I’m a website designer & online software installer.  I’ve been doing this for around 6 or so years.

I started out with WYSIWYG editors then html & css to build static web pages.  I quickly learned that web pages built with WYSIWYG editors look like they were built with WYSIWYG editors (not very professional). I also learned that html & css wasn’t a whole lot better.  They might look a little better but there’s still no major bells & whistles.

The best web pages (in my opinion) are dynamic web pages but I’m not a programmer therefore I can’t build them.  So what I do is use online software programs which require an online database to work.

Most if not all of the websites I’ve built (for others) in the last couple of years were built with WordPress, one of my favorite online software programs.  But I’m also familiar with vBulletin, SMF & TinyPortal, Joomla, Drupal, & some genealogy softwares.
